It's Hereditary

Below you will find the self portraits of two of Hal's children.

Jessica Clark (Sisson)

Jessica drew this as a 4-H project. Jessica's only formal art class was 7th grade art, taught by Hal (small schools lack the faculty to keep students from having their own parents as teachers). This drawing won a blue ribbon at the Steuben Country Fair in Bath, NY in the summer of 1999. Along with her talent in art, Jessica also has talents in crafting and sewing. She enjoys making quilts, scrapbooking, Jessica graduated from Addison Central School in 1999, received her B.A. English degree from Mansfield University in 2004, and is currently pursueing her Masters Degree in Secondary Education, concentrating in English and Computers. This website is a final project for one of her graduate classes.

Tyler Sisson

Tyler completed his self portrait as an assignment in one of Hal's classes. Unlike Hal's twin daughters, Tyler shows a real passion for art and has a lot of talent. He graduated from Addison Central School in 2003. He is currently enlisted in the Air Force and stationed at Eielson AFB in Eielson, Alaska.
